Late Happy Birthday

Sunday, Feb. 8 was my precious daughters 9 year birthday. Kevin and I were out of town for the weekend, so I wasn't able to blog and say how much We love her. Summer you are very special to your dad and I. You are growing up to be a very beautiful young lady. You must remember to always put God first in everything you do. Nothing is more important than God. Without him you will get nowhere in life. Keep being involved in praise and worship in church and always remember that you little sister is watching you. What you do means alot to her. We love you very much and are very proud of you. Happy Late Birthday.

?

Seems like it has been forever since I was on here. Things have been very crazy for us. My mammaw was in the hospital for 5 weeks so I was helping take care of her and my sisters 2 girls along with my family. Last week she past away. I would give anything to take care of her now. I wasn't complaining about taking care of her. I would do it again and again. She was my hero. I know that she is enjoying herself now. She kept telling us she was ready to go be with papaw. I tell my girls that they are watching them together, so they better be good. Konleigh says that her angel is in her heart, so she can protect her everywhere she goes.

In the middle of all that confusion. Konleigh had eye surgery. She did so good. I am so proud of my sweet girl. They are still red but look so much better. Please keep us in your prayers. Thanks for all the prayers. Guess I better go for now. More news later.

Time flies

It seems that time really gets away from you. Life is so busy now. My kids really keep me busy with things at school. I keep my sisters 2 girls. A 2 year old and a 7 month old. That is a very busy day. Justin will be graduating in a couple of months. Going to high school. Where did my little boy go. He's not little anymore. He is now 6'2. He thinks that is so cool. Being talling than mom. Konleigh will also be graduating from kindergarten. Summer is caught in the middle. I can remember when she was graduating kindergarten. I want to cherish the memories and make more with my kids. They are only kids once. Everyday is very precious because you don't know when you won't have them. I want my kids to know how important they are to me and that I thank God everyday for loaning them to me.
On Friday after Christmas we had our family gathering. My oldest brother that lives in Texas is a minister. My sister asked him if he would dedicate her baby. They decided that it was mostly for family, so he did it at our Christmas gathering. Some of the things he said really stuck with me. He told them that God loaned them the girls and it was up to them to take them to church and teach them right from wrong. It was a casual but beautiful dedication. He spoke to them from his heart. God works in mysterious ways. Who knows what could happen now.
Seems like I have so much I want to say but it always feels like I am rambling. Sorry. Hope everyone has a great day.

Childs Faith

Yesterday morning Konleigh got up not feeling so well. As we were getting ready for church I asked her if she would like to be prayed for. She said that she would because she knew Jesus would heal her. When we got to church we went to our pastor who is crazy about the kids and told him that she wasnt feeling well and wanted to be prayed for. As church began and he asked her to come down front, she had the faith that she was gonna feel better. All afternoon she laid around. Our Christmas Program was last night. I was so afraid she wasn't gonna be able to do her part. She was amazing. She was the youngest one and she did her part like she was as old as the rest of them. She sang her song with everything she had in her. I am so proud of her. After church so said, I made it through the program. Jesus helped me. I had to moma, Sis. Rhonda (her Sunday school teacher) said it was for Jesus. Children can get through things that we don't think they will.

I've been going on about Konleigh doing so well. Summer did awesome too. They got on that platform and performed like they did it everyday. I am very proud of my girls. Just had to do a little bragging. Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas.

Rambling

Nothing new going on here. Still busy with school, basketball, church, kids, and run, run, and more running. I love to be busy with my kids. They grow up to fast. Justin will be 14 on the 16th. Where did the time go? The girls are in the Christmas program at church. They are busy with that. I am just so thankful that I am able to be a full-time mom. The best feeling of all is when my son sees me at the school and comes to give me a hug. Most kids his age do not want to see their mom at the school. Makes me feel so good. Guess I better get everyone ready for church. Bye for now.
